Winter has definitely still not departed. We awoke to snow on the decks this morning and more promised for later today. I felt for Katya as she trudged off to school, adorned with her wooly hat and gloves. It was not quite as cold overnight as the previous night but I did get up at 4am to turn the heating on. At least my toothpaste was not frozen this morning. Here is a video of one of my favorite sailing moments from last year. We were sailing down Chatham Strait and across to Egg harbor on Coronation island Alaska. The wind was blowing 20-25 on the beam. Great fun.
