Landfall

We are pleased to announce that as or 17:24 UTC we made landfall in Fatu Hiva, Marquesas, French Polynesia. 10.27S 138.40W. We sailed through the night and at dawn the light revealed our wonderful destination ahead of us, the most majestic sight I have ever seen. After 3014 nautical miles in 23 days, 23 hrs and 24 minutes at sea it is great to drop the anchor, be able to stand straight and enjoy a cooling swim in these wonderful waters. More on our arrival later but for now we need to sleep, drink and be merry.
